Ex-Israeli soldier posts disputable photos on FB

Jerusalem, Aug 17: Israeli and Palestinian authorities slammed a discharged Israeli female soldier for posting her pictures on Facebook posing next to bound and blindfolded Palestinians.

Eden Abergil, former conscript in Israel army, posted her two pictures in her album on Facebook posing next to hand-bound and blindfolded Palestinian men at an undisclosed location in the occupied West Bank. Israel military spokesman described her action as the most shameful behaviour by a soldier.

Palestinian Government Media Center told that the pictures were humiliating and called for an end to such practices.

"This shows the mentality of the occupier, to be proud of humiliating Palestinians. It should end, and Palestinian rights and dignity be respected," said Palestinian government in a statement.
