Taliban militants destroy another girls' school in FATA
Islamabad, July 12 (ANI): Taliban militants on Monday destroyed another girls school by detonating explosives in Sheikh Baba area of Bajaur tribal Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
No casualty was reported, as the incident took place early in the morning.
So far, 89 schools have been destroyed in Bajaur, where insurgent Taliban militants have reportedly been regrouping.
At least six militants were killed and several injured on June 16, as Pakistani security forces pounded heavy artillery on extremists' hideouts in Nawagai area of the agency.
Earlier, Pakistani security forces had declared victory in some of the tribal areas, after launching several operations utilizing both ground and air offensives. (ANI)
