Nifty ends in green for the sixth day
Mumbai, Jun 16: At 4:10 pm, BSE Sensex was 17,462.87 up 50.04 points and NSE Nifty was 5233.35 up 11.00 points.
Nifty was in a consolidation mode for the day but closed in a positive note again for the sixth day. Asian markets also ended higher. 1642 shares advanced when 1464 declined and 206 shares remained unchanged on BSE.
Reliance shares were the most active in the market. The other active shares were Tata Steel, Sterlite Industries and Tata Motors. M&M was up by 3.5 percent.

among
the
midcap
space
gained
6
to
10
percent.
The
losers
were
Kwality
Diary,
Sadbhav
Engg,
Syndicate
Bank,

which
lost
2.7
to
6
percent.

Sensex wavy; M&M, Rel Cap, Tata Motors gains
At 2:20 pm, BSE Sensex was 17,482.07 up 69.24 points and NSE Nifty was 5235.40 up 13.05 points. Sensex remained wavy and Nifty was trading with positive bias.
Around 1735 shares advanced where as 1189 declined and 387 remained unchanged. BSE Midcap and Smallcap index were up by 0.6 to 0.8 percent, respectively.
Auto, IT, metal and telecom stocks witnessed buying where as oil & gas and FMCG stocks marked selling pressure.
Reliance traded down by 0.46 percent. Infosys also was down by 1.05 percent from its previous close. HPCL was trading 1.54 percent down.
The other losers were ITC which was 0.07 percent down and Hindustan Lever, 1.35 percent down.

Nifty continues in green; realty, auto, metal up
At 12:20 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17,486.81 up 73.98 points and NSE Nifty was 5239.95 up 17.60 points.
Nifty continued to trade higher. Technology, realty, metal, auto, private banking and select pharma companies shares witnessed buying.
Oil and gas, capital goods and select telecom companies' shares went down. The other losers in trade were Axis Bank, HUL, Sun Pharma, Hero Honda, SBI, Tata Power, PNB and Reliance Power.

Nifty opens in green; markets volatile
At 9:55 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17,486.50 up 73.67 points and NSE Nifty was 5239.30 up 16.95 points.
Benchmarks Nifty and Sensex started the day on positive note. CNX Midcap went up 25 points and BSE Smallcap went up 35 points. Around 540 shares advanced while 170 shares declined on NSE.
DLF, Cipla, Tata Motors, Cairn, Sterlite Industries, TCS, Infosys, Suzlon Energy, Wipro and Bharti witnessed buying interest.Tata Motors was up by 1.5 percent. Cipla surged by one percent.
Tata Power, Sun Pharma and BPCl were on the losing side.
Among

broader
indices,
Aban
Offshore
went
up
five
percent.
RNRL,
Lanco
Infratech,
Karuturi
Global
and
RCF
witnessed
buying
of
2
percent
each.
Others
who
went
up
by
1.2
percent
include
TTML,
Punj
Lloyd
and
Appolo
Tyres.
Syndicate
Bank
plunged
down
by
3.5
percent.
