Brothers accused of raping six-year-old sister
Melbourne, June 10 (ANI): A six-year-old girl was repeatedly raped by her elder brothers aged 13 and 15, a Birmingham Crown court has heard.
The girl told in a recorded interview, to a female police officer, that she was attacked around 15 times by one sibling and more than 10 by the other - for three years between September 2006 and May 2009.
The brothers have denied the charges of rape and sexual assault of a child.n the video shown to the jury, the girl told the court she had 'said no' to her older brother and he had said he would give her sweets. One of the brothers is also alleged to have sexually assaulted another younger sister.
'Because the charges were read to you, I imagine it probably became very clear to you what this case is all about.
'The prosecution case, in a nutshell, is that each of these two boys sexually abused their sister ... and in the case of the eldest, abused his other sister as well,' The Daily Telegraph quoted prosecutor Mark Heywood as telling the jurors.
The trial, which is scheduled to finish next week, was adjourned until tomorrow. (ANI)
