Nithyananda's mission on a mission to save image

Bangalore, Mar 8: In a desperate bid to save the image of scandal-tainted Swami Nithyananda, the spiritual guru's mission Dyanapeeta has called for a press conference on Monday, Mar 8 scheduled to held at 1:30 pm in the Bidadi ashram.

International co-ordinator and spokesperson, Swami Nitya Sachithananda, along with other senior swamijis including Sri Nitya Gnanananda Mahacharya, and Nitya Prananda will be addressing the conference to clarify facts in the wake of the recent sex scandal involving Swami Nithyananda.

They are expected to disclose true facts as against the alleged conspiracy hatched against the mission in an attempt to defame the spiritual leader.

A sex tape showing Swami Nithyananda in a compromising position with Tamil actress surfaced last week on Mar 2 sullying the man's image and enraging his followers leading to widespread protests against him.

The Swami, whose whereabouts are still unknown, also faces cheating cases for outraging the religious sentiments.
