UP: Hooch kills seven, 4 battle for life

Bulandshahr, Mar 3: Hooch continues to overflow in Uttar Pradesh leading to more and more deaths. In the latest reported incident, seven people died while four others are in critical condition after consuming illegal and toxic liquor.

One woman was among the seven dead in the incident after consuming liquor on Tuesday, Mar 2 night, which they bought at the Mirpur Khawjpur village here.

The police said on Wednesday, Mar 3 that all those who died from the consuming the liquor were labourers.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Bulandshahr, Nilesh Kumar said that the shop has been sealed and the owner has been held.
