Delhi student injured in Pune blast dies

Pune, Feb 17: With yet another person injured in the Feb 13 German Bakery blast succumbing to his injuries, the death toll of the Pune terror attack has risen to 11.

As per the latest inputs, a Delhi student, identified as Aditya Jaiprakash Mehta, who was battling for his life in a hospital passed away early on Wednesday, Feb 17.

Police has informed that Aditya passed away at around 4 am at the Jehangir Hospital here.

The latest victim was was a fourth year student of Bharatiya Vidyapeeth, an engineering college in the city.

The death toll of the Pune attack was 9 until Tuesday, Feb 16. The toll was put up at 10 when a Lucknow student Abhishek Saxena succumbed to injuries on Monday, Feb 15 night.

Nine people died on Saturday, Feb 13 while over 50 people were injured in the explosion at the eatery located in the upmarket Koregaon area.
