Pune blast investigations are at an early stage: Home Secretary
New Delhi, Feb 15 (ANI): Union Home Secretary G.K. Pillai on Monday said that the investigation related to Pune bomb blast is at a very early stage and it's difficult to say who was responsible for the incident.
Interacting with a private news channel Pillai said: "The investigations are still in early stage, it will take time before we know who is responsible."
"It's a detailed and pain-staking job as all the evidence has to be sifted. It is important not to hurry up the investigators," he added.
Pillai said that putting pressure on investigators would hamper the process.
Putting pressure gets them to make partial disclosures, which harms the investigation," he said.
Pillai said the incident might be a part of the Pakistan's Karachi Project.
The Pakistan's 'Karachi Project' was aimed at brainwashing Indian youths to strike against India, he said.David Headley has told us that the Karachi Project is meant to brainwash Indian groups inside Pakistan so that they come to India and carry out attacks," Pillai said.
"Pakistan doesn't want its citizens to be held accountable for terror attacks," he added.
"We cannot rule in or rule out the foreign hand" in the incident,he further added. (ANI)
