Disappointment for Carla Bruni fans in India

New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI) Bad news for Carla Bruni fans who were expecting former model and French first lady to visit India during Holi along with her husband President Nicholas Sarkozy.

Diplomatic sources have told ANI that President Sarkozy will be coming in the later half of the year due to preoccupations of President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

According to diplomatic sources, President Sarkozy wanted to come during February end or the beginning of March but Indian Prime Minister will be traveling to Suadi Arabia during this period and President is also too busy. Therefore French President and his wife Carla are expected to come sometime later in the year.

Sources said that French and Indian officials are working on a mutually acceptable date.

So Carla's admirers might not see her during Holi but should look forward for another date to get a glimpse of the glamorous first lady of France. By Naveen Kapoor (ANI)
