Heavy firing along Indo-Pak border in Jammu
Jammu, Jan 9: In yet another upsetting instance of ceasefire violation at the Indo-Pak border, heavy firing has been reported from the international border at Pargawal in Jammu Kashmir.
Quoting army officials media reports said that the firing took place at around at around 4:00 am on Saturday, Jan 9 morning prompting top Border Security Force (BSF) and army officials to rush to the spot.
DIG BSF has reportedly said that an infiltration bid cannot be ruled out in the incident.
A high alert has been issued along Jammu-Akhnoor highway.
Meanwhile, there are also reports of suspected terrorists firing rockets into Punjab's Amritsar district.
