Gujarat: H1N1 claims 3 more lives, toll to 51

Ahmedabad, Dec 6: Swine Flu claimed three more lives on Saturday, Dec 5, taking the death toll in state to 51, health officials said.

"So far, 51 people have died of swine flu in various hospitals in the state, out of which 48 belonged to Gujarat while three were from Rajasthan," a health department official said.

The three who died in Civil Hospital were Makshree Bhojraj, 21, a pregnant lady from Mundra in Kutch, Virja Ramesh, 35, from Botad and Govind Raval, 27, from Palanpur.

The three had acute lower respiratory tract infections.

Four new cases of swine flu were also reported, taking the total positive cases to 333.
