Hakeemullah dead, man in video his look- alike brother: Malik

Islamabad, Oct.7 (ANI): Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has claimed that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Hakeemullah Mehsud is dead and the man who appeared in a recent video claiming to be Mehsud might be his look-alike.

Talking to reporters after visiting the persons who were injured in the suicide attack on the UN building here, Malik said the man in the video might be Mehsud's brother.

Malik said following the attack on the UN World Food Program (WFP) building, security officials have been directed to frisk all persons appearing in police or security guards' uniform, The Daily Times reports.

It may be noted that the attacker, who was dressed as a Pakistani Army soldier, was allowed to pass through security at the heavily guarded WFP building after he showed an immediate need to use the toilet. (ANI)
