Teenager cuts father's wrist to revenge abuse
Taipei, Sep 29: A teenage boy was arrested for chopping off his father's hands, reported the police.
The police official said 17-year-old Taiwanese tboy remorselessly admitted to cutting his father's hands off as he was beaten after refusing to get a job while attending school.
The boy complained that since his mother left 10 years ago, the father, an iron smith frequently beat him and tossed objects at him.
The official said that the boy cut through his father's wrists with a knife while he was asleep at the family's home in central Miaoli.
The father and son were identified only by their surname, Fan.
The police official stated that the father was in a stable condition.
The boy was handed over to a juvenile court.
