Digvijay Singh accuses Mayawati of playing into the hands of her advisors
Lucknow, July 26 (ANI): Congress Party general secretary Digvijay Singh has accused the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati of playing into the hands of a few advisors and charged her with not being aware about ground realities in the state.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Singh also accused Mayawati of moving away from the masses.
Accusing the state government of failing on all fronts, he said has no concern about the people who are suffering from power shortages and poor development.
Demanding that the state government immediately send its report to the Centre on the drought situation, Singh said Uttar Pradesh has not taken enough measures to deal with the situation. He also criticised the Chief Secretary's letter to the Centre demanding certified seeds, saying the demand for the seeds traditionally is put two years in advance and not at the eleventh hour.
Singh made it clear that the Congress did not have any plan to dissolve the Mayawati Government. (ANI)
