President Patil to visit Vidarbha today

Vidarbha, July 17 (ANI): President Pratibha Patil will arrive here on a day-long visit today.

During her visit, President Patil will unveil the statue of Maharana Pratap at Chikhli.

Later, she will proceed to Buldhana where she will inaugurate the Centenary Celebrations of the District Court and also the Lawyers' Conference organised by the District Bar Association.

Maharashtra Governor S.C. Jamir, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Mukul Wasnik, State Law Minister Radhkrishna Vikhe-Patil and Guardian Minister of the district Dr. Rajendra Shingane will be present on the occasion.

The President will return home the same evening. (ANI)
