Berlusconi didn't have sex with Letizia, says ex-boyfriend

London, June 1 (ANI): Ex-boyfriend of Noemi Letizia, the 18-year-old aspiring model at the heart of Silvio Berlusconi's divorce row, says that Italian Prime Minister did not have sex with the teenager.

In a letter to Italy's Corriere della Sera newspaper, Luigi Flaminio apologised for talking about Berlusconi's relationship with Letizia publicly, and ruled out any sexual relationship.

"I only told the truth," the Scotsman quoted Flaminio as saying.

"Now they are insinuating that he (Berlusconi] had sexual relations, something I rule out a priori and is impossible knowing Noemi and her values," he added.

The relationship between Berlusconi and Letizia came to light after the former was photographed at the girl's 18th birthday party in Naples last month.

However, he strongly denies the affair, insisting he would resign if caught lying about it. (ANI)
