Meet the American who lost a stone in 30 days - courtesy McDonald's diet!

London, April 22 (ANI): An American man has lost a stone in 30 days - just by eating McDonald's.

Doug Logeais, 40, was determined to get rid of the flab, but also wanted to treat himself by eating at his favourite fast-food restaurant.

So he ate at the burger chain for 30 days in a row and managed to shed an amazing 15lb - more than half of it in the first week.

"I've tried every diet in the book, but the only way for me to lose weight was eating at McDonald's every day," the Daily Star quoted Doug as saying.

"I'm not kidding - 30 days, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The slogan at McDonalds is: 'I'm Lovin' It.' For me it's: 'I'm Losin' It,'" he added.

Doug said that the main secret of his success was cutting out one of his favourite Mac treats.

"I love their French fries, they are the best. But I haven't had them in 30 days," he said.

Even without chips, he found plenty to eat at his local McDonald's in San Diego, California.

"They do a great breakfast bap. For lunch I would have either a grilled chicken snack wrap or a side salad. And for dinner I would always go for one of their larger salads," he said.

He also stopped drinking alcohol and did regular workouts.

"Anyone can do it. There's no secret. It's all about diet and exercise," he added. (ANI)
