Abduction of DCO puts question mark over peace deal
Islamabad, Feb.22 (ANI): Days after the Geo News journalist Musa Khan Khel was murdered, another incident of abduction of the the newly appointed District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) of Swat, Khushhal Khan, along with his six body guards in the valley on Sunday has put a big question mark over the 'peace deal' between the government and the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Khan was reportedly on his way to Saidu Sharif to take over the charge when he was abducted by some unidentified persons.
Khan was transferred here just two days ago, stated The Nation.
The authorities, meanwhile, are clueless about the incident as no person or an organization has claimed the responsibility for kidnapping the government official so far. (ANI)
