Ramsay under investigation after breaking record for swearing
London, Feb 9 (ANI): British chef Gordon Ramsay has come under the scrutiny of the broadcasting watchdog Ofcom, after he broke the world record for swearing on the small screen.
An episode of Ramsay's TV show 'Gordon's Great British Nightmare' contained 313 swear words, and he was heard to have used the word "f**k" 240 times, reports the Daily Express.
Ofcom questioned Britain's Channel 4, which telecast the show, why the programme was allowed to go on air despite being full of cuss words.
Ofcom is also investigating Ramsay after more than 80 viewers complained about the show.
As per the British broadcasting code, TV bosses must ensure that any material that may cause offence is justified. (ANI)
