Pakistan charts out new strategy to control violence in Swat
Karachi, Jan. 24 (ANI): Pakistan's Interior Adviser Rehman Malik has said that the government has come up with a fresh strategy to control the violence in Swat, and added that people of the region would experience better results within a week.
Malik said the security situation in FATA was under control while addressing a press meets at the Sindh Chief Minister's House on Friday.
"The operation in Swat will be conducted as terrorists have fled from FATA and are now hiding in various villages in the area," he said.
Malik also said that the provincial governments were fully cooperating with the federal government in maintaining the security situation.
"Any information about terrorists and criminals is being shared with the provinces," Malik said. (ANI)
