Zardari among Time magazine's '20 People Who Mattered Most in 2008'
Washington, Dec 26 (ANI): President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has made it to Time magazine's new list of 'People Who Mattered'.
Zardari ends 2008 as the President of a nuclear-armed nation threatened by Islamic militancy and on the verge of economic collapse.
Swimmer Michael Phelps also landed a place in the prestigious list because of his historic win at the Olympics this year.
Along with Rick Warren, pastor of a Lake Forest, Calif., church, who has written a self-help book that sold more than 30 million copies, UK leader Gordon Brown and George W Bush have also made the cut.
Hillary Clinton, Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey are also in the list.
