Brit man convicted in Dubai beach sex case remains 'detained'
London, December 20 (ANI): Authorities in Dubai are still holding the British man convicted of having unmarried sex and public indecency on Jumeirah Beach.
Vince Acors was to return home on Friday, but his lawyer said that he "appears to have been detained by the Dubai authorities," reports Sky News.
He and Michelle Palmer were found guilty of having a romp in the early hours, after meeting at a champagne brunch in a five-star hotel on the Emirate.
They were initially issued with three-month jail terms, which were suspended on appeal.
Acors is very keen to get back, and that has been his only focus for the past five months. (ANI)
