'Icebreaker' wins fernhill's Palace Bangalore 1000 Guineas

Bangalore, Nov 30 (UNI) S Padmanabhan trained second favourite 'Icebreaker' ridden by jockey David Allan easily won the Fernhill's Palace Bangalore 1000 Guineas (Grade-II), the classic event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by Capt Jamshed J Appoo and Simone Z Poonawalla Rep. Poonawalla Racing and Breed Ltd.

Trainers Amit Caddy and S Singh and Jockeys S Hitchcott and S Ramesh scored double each. Three favourites obliged punters in a long card of nine events.
