PM to meet TN CM led all party delegation on December 4
Chennai, Nov 29 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would meet an all party delegation, to be led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, at 1015 hrs on December 4 to discuss the Sri Lankan Tamils issue and the demand for ceasefire in Lanka.
The Prime Minister gave his consent to meet the delegation in a letter send to Mr Karunanidhi today, an official release here said.
The Prime Minister acknowledged receipt of Mr Karunanidhi's November 25 letter, about the resolution adopted at the Legislature Party meeting on the need for ceasefire in Lanka, it said.
Members of Parliament from Tamil Nadu would meet the Prime Minister on December 2 to brief him about the happenings in the Tamil areas, the release added.
