Nitish appeals to maintain unity in the hour of crisis
Patna, Nov 27 (UNI) Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today condemned the terror attacks in Mumbai and appealed to the people to maintain unity in the hour of crisis.
Strongly condemning the attacks, Mr Kumar described it as attacks on the ''unity and integrity'' of the country.
Expressing grief over the loss of lives in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Mr Kumar said the disruptive forces were trying to shatter and destabilise the nation and appealed people to fight unitedly for defeating the nefarious designs of terrorists.
''We should take pledge to maintain communal harmony,'' he said adding it was a major shock for people of the country who will have to maintain peace and patience to overcome such situation.
He further said the security personnel in Bihar were alert in the wake of the terrorist attack in Mumbai.
