DMK to mourn Singh's death for three days

Chennai, Nov 27 (UNI) The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamil Nadu has decided to mourn the death of former Prime Minister V P Singh for three days.

A press release from the DMK headquarters here said party flags would fly half-mast for three days from today as a mark of respect to the late leader.

Singh had implemented the Mandal Commission recommendations for the upliftment of Backward and Most Backward Classes in the country, it said.
