Saudi Aramco to produce 12 mln bpd by 2009-end
New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Saudi Aramco, owned by the Saudi Arabian Government, today said it expects crude oil output to rise to 12 million barrels per day (bpd) by next year-end.
''We will be capable on a sustained basis to produce at 12 million barrels a day by the end of 2009,'' company Chief Executive Abdallah Jumah told reporters here.
Saudi Aramco, a fully-integrated global petroleum enterprise and a world leader in exploration, manages proven reserves of 260 billion barrels of oil and the fourth-largest gas reserves in the world.
