HKTB sets up new office in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 26: To promote Hong Kong as a meetings, incentive, convention, exhibition (MICE) destination for corporate India, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has opened a new office in Mumbai. The Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) office will provide a one-stop logistical support for interested Indian corporate entities through a representative based in India.

HKTB chairman James Tien at the launch ceremony said, ''the launch of the MEHK is only the first in our efforts to sustain and enhance Hong Kong's MICE business in high-potential markets like India.'' The HKTB has received government funding to pursue similar approach in other high potential markets of Mainland China, UK and the US.
