Lalu's admission of mistake on President's Rule makes him great:RJD
Patna, Nov 22 (UNI) The RJD today said Railway Minister Lalu Prasad had exhibited the rare traits of a great statesman by publicly admitting his mistake for prevailing over the Centre to impose the President's Rule in Bihar after the hung Assembly in 2005.
National spokesman of the party Shyam Rajak told reporters here that Mr Prasad was among the few statesmen of the country having the courage to admit their mistakes in public.
'' Most of the leaders generally feel humiliated in admitting their mistakes and they continue to defend themselves on one pretext or the other, '' he added.
Mr Rajak alleged that the Nitish Kumar government was trying to ''mislead'' the people of the state by presenting ''distorted'' figures related to execution of various welfare and development schemes in Bihar.
'' The RJD will not allow the NDA government to reap the harvest on the basis of jugglery with figures and it will issue a comprehensive report on completion of three years regime of the Nitish Kumar government, giving details about its failure on several fronts, including law and order situation, '' Mr Rajak asserted.
