176 metric tonne pesticides provided to fruit growers

Shimla, Nov 22 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Department has provided pesticides worth of Rs 6.62 crore to fruit growers of the state.

A spokesman of the Horticulture Department said here today that 176 metric tonnes of pesticides had been so far made available to fruit growers in the state.

He asked the fruit growers to follow the suggestions provided under spray schedule 2008 and said that they could contact the field officers of the department posted in their areas for further information.
