Gujarat ATS gets custody of Arif over Guj serial blasts
Lucknow, Nov 21 (UNI) The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) today took custody of Arif alias Atul Qadir in connection with the serial blasts that ripped that state this year.
Arif, member of Delhi module of Indian Mujahideen terror outfit, was arrested by Uttar Pradesh ATS from Sanjarpur district of Azamgarh on September 28 for his alleged role in the contemporaneous blasts in Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad courts on November 23, 2007.
The Gujarat ATS took the custody of the outlaw after furnishing relevant warrant, official sources said.
He was incarcerated in Lucknow jail.
