Accused in Tata motors plant head's residence attack gets bail

Jamshedpur, Nov 20 (UNI) A city court has granted bail to the prime accused in an alleged attack at the residence of Tata Motors' head S B Borwankar here about a month ago.

The accused, Anand Bihari Dubey, Pesident of Bhartiya Bhojpuri Sangh, and three others including Sheela Devi, were granted bail after they surrendered before Chief Judicial Magistrate P K Moitra's court yesterday.

A mob, allegedly led by Dubey had attacked the house of Borwankar at Nildih on October 21 and damaged property during the demonstration in protest against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackrey's attacks on north Indians in Mumbai.

No one was injured in the attack.

A case was lodged and two people were arrested.

But, Dubey and some others has been absconding since. Dubey is also a leader of ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
