Toy Watch launches new range of wrist watches in India

Mumbai, Nov 19 (UNI) Global Italian brand 'Toy Watch', with a strong presence in the US and global markets with flagship stores in Milan, Rome, Istanbul, Macau and Bangkok, has launched its range of premium wrist watches in India.

Making the announcement here today, owner Marco Mavilla said that they have received positive feedback from retailers and will be introduced in hi-fashion stores across the city.

'' We are not selling technology but a fashion and lifestyle brand and will target the high-end market. Everybody is looking at the Indian market. With the market becomes more fashion sensitive, we have high expectations,'' Mr Mavilla added.

The company's marketing manager said that Toy Watch would focus on tieups in the next five months and was willing to work with every retailer that will provide the right environment for the brand. The company will open its flagship store in Mumbai followed by Delhi, Bangalore and Pune, and 100 stores by 2010.

Commenting on the brand, celebrity Mandira Bedi said, '' The brand has a good price range including affordable ones with a fantastic attitude and statement on any wrist.'' Founded in 2005, Toy Watch, has a turnover of Euro 20 million, and also plans to open a flagship store in London.
