Income Tax raid on Gutkha manufacturers
Lucknow, Nov 19 (UNI) Income Tax sleuths today raided commercial and residential premises of Lucknow based businessmen having business interest in 'Paan Masala' and Tea.
About three hundred income tax officials are engaged in the raid being conducted at 30 premises spread over Lucknow and Kanpur.
Income tax sources told UNI that the estimation of tax evasion was not immediately known and the documents were being scrutinised.
