Death of Bero school students mourned on Nehru b'day in J'khand
Ranchi, Nov 14 (UNI) All the government primary and middle schools remained closed today, on the 119th birth anniversary of country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, to mourn the death of students of Bero Awasiya Adivasi Vidalaya of the state capital.
Altogether five students of that school died and nearly 40 fell ill after consuming contaminted food served by the school administration on the eve of Children's day.
Meanwhile, floral tributes were paid to the former Prime Minister at a simple function organised at the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters here.
Another function was also organised at the Heavy Engineering Corporation headquarters here on the occasion.
