Raj Speaker, former Speaker figure in BJP list for Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 13 (UNI) Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Sumitra Singh, former Speaker Samarath Lal Meena, two Ministers Surendrapal Singh TT and Vasudev Devnani, and former MP Krishnendra Kaur alias Deepa figured in the second list of 43 candidates of the ruling BJP for the December 4 Assembly Polls in Rajasthan.

While Ms Singh has been fielded by the saffron party from her traditional Mandawa seat in Jhunjhunu district, Mr Meena has been nominated for the Rajgarh(ST) seat in Alwar district, a party Spokesman said here today.

Likewise, Surendrapal Singh TT would contest the Karanpur seat for the party and Mr Devnani seeking re-election from Ajmer North.

Deepa a sitting MLA from Nadbai in Bharatpur district has also been allotted ticket from the same constituency.

The list has been released by the party after clearance from the Central Election Committee which met in New Delhi today under the chairmanship of the party president Rajnath Singh. BJP Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani also participated in the meeting, the spokesman said.
