Krishna-Mahesh Sena to support Congress in AP
Hyderabad, Nov 13 (UNI) Activists of filmstar Krishna-Mahesh Sena will support the ruling Congress in Andhra Pradesh and strive hard to highlight the developmental and welfare schemes, initiated by the state government to the people.
Addressing a press conference here today, Sena State President Diddi Rambabu said the activists were impressed by the welfare schemes launched by the Congress government under the leadership of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
He said the activists would create awareness on the schemes launched by the government to the voters at the district, mandal and village-level.
The activists would attend the Nandi awards function in the city on November 16 where filmstar Krishna would be presented with the NTR award while his actor son Mahesh Babu would receive 'Nandi' for their services in the film industry.
The meeting of Krishna-Mahesh fans would be held at Padmalaya Studio on November 16 in which a signature campaign would be organised, demanding that the government honour actor Krishna with 'Padma Vibhushan' award, the Sena leader said.
