KMC signs MoU with KPM to promote tourism and culture

Kolkata, Nov 10 (UNI) The Kolkata Municipal Corporation(KMC) and Kumming People's Municipal(KPM) of China today signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of tourism, cultural and cooperation between the two civic bodies.

The MoU was signed by KMC Mayor Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharjee and KPM Mayor Zhang Zulin here.

''We have established sister friendship with many other foreign countries and our main purposes of visiting Kolkata is to establish solid friendship and good relations with the city,'' Mr Zulin told newspersons here.

He said the MOU would go a long way in furthering business relation between the KMC and the KPM.

Besides, Mr Bhattacharjee and Mr Zulin, Deputy Mayor OF KPM Wang Xiaoguang, Director-General of Kumming Dianchi National Tourism Administration Commission Mr Fan Liyi, Mr Zhu Jianguo Director of culture, Mr Pang Bohe Deputy Director of Tourism were also present on the occasion.
