Dasmunsi's condition shows no improvement, still on life support

New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, who has been hospitalised for almost a month, today continued to remain on life support and showed no signs of improvement.

''The medical condition of Mr Dasmunsi remains the same and he continues to be on life support,'' said a spokesperson for the Apollo hospital, where Mr Dasmunsi is admitted.

He was admitted to AIIMS on October 13, after suffering a complete left ventricular failure and was shifted to the Indraprastha Apollo hospital a week later.

Earlier, he had suffered a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.

Mr Dasmunsi had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata. He also has a history of diabetes and hypertension.
