ABVP bandh on Nov 12 as part of save North East campaign
Kakinada, Nov 4 (UNI) As part of its 'save North East India to save India tomorrow' campaign, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyardhi Parishad (ABVP), will organise a nationwide educational institutions Bandh on November 12.
Announcing this at a press conference here today, ABVP National executive member K V Sastry appealed to all the students, teachers and managements of various educational institutions to support the nation's cause by observing bandh on November 12.
Over one lakh students from all over the country would march to chicken neck area in north eastern states on December 17 to express solidarity with the people in their fight against Bangladeshi intrusion into our territory, he said, and claimed that over one crore people from Bangladesh had intruded into the area in the last few decades, posing a threat to the integrity and sovereignty of the country.
