Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and two others, suspected of plotting and planting a bomb at Malegaon on September 29, will be produced before a local court in Nashik as their police remand is ending today.

After conducting a medical examination of the Sadhvi and her associates, Shamlal Bhavar Sahu and Shivnarayan Singh, in the municipal King Edward Memorial hospital in the morning, the trio was taken to Nashik by Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS). They would be produced in the District and Sessions court there this afternoon.

On October 23, the Sadhvi, a former national executive secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and her two associates were arrested on the charges of plotting and planting a bomb in Malegaon and Modasa on September 29, which killed six and one person respectively.

However, on November 1, a four-member team of Gujarat police, which had come here to interrogate Pragya, has given a clean chit to her in the Modasa bomb blast case.

Police have also arrested two others an ex-army officer Ramesh Upadyay and Sameer Kulkarni, in connection with these blasts. Another Lieutenant Colonel S Purohit was also detained from Pachmarhi in Madhya Pradesh and brought to Mumbai. But, ATS declined to confirm his detention.

Nothing concrete had come out of the brain mapping and polygraphic tests conducted on Pragya on October 30 and November 1 at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) here.
