Ten injured during NREGS works in Mizoram

Aizawl, Oct 31(UNI) Altogether ten people were injured when a huge portion of earth caved in at a road construction site under the NREGS at Thuampui locality here today.

The injured, were admitted to the Aizawl Civil Hospital, sources said adding the condition of one of them was stated to be critical.

The rest were released after administering first aid.

Thuampui VCP estimated that around 500-600 people were engaged in the work.
