3 NRIs of same family die in US

Vijayawada, Oct 31 (UNI) Three Non Resident Indians (NRIs) belonging to a family hailing from Andhra Pradesh, that included a woman, her son and daughter, died under mysterious circumstances in Detroit in the United States of America (USA), a couple of days ago.

The victims were identified as Jayalakshmi(37), hailing from Kandrika in Krishna district, her daughter Tejaswi (14) and son Siva Kumar (12). They were found dead in their apartment at Novino Palace in Detroit.

The cause of their death was not immediately known as Jayalakshmi's husband N Lakshmi Srinivasa Rao, hailing from Akunuru of Vuyyuru mandal in this district could not be contacted after the incident, family sources of Rao told mediapersons here today.

The sources said the incident came into light after Rao's brothers, who were also staying there, went to the apartment two days back and found the bodies. Later, they informed their father Koteswara Rao at Akunuru village.

Koteswara is rushing to the US tonight to bring back the bodies to India. Meanwhile, newspersons could not contact the family members of Jayalakshmi.
