CM to hold meet on impact of global financial crisis

Bangalore, Oct 29 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has convened a high-level official meeting to discuss the implications of present global economic crisis on the State's economy.

According to official sources, the Chief Minister would preside over the meeting convened to study the impact of the financial crisis, which is gripping the global economy, on the State's economy.

The meeting assumes importance as the State stands on top in country's export of IT and Biotechnology services, which are likely to be affected due to the recent economic downturn.
