Puducherry: Fire in Raja theatre creates panic

Puducherry, Oct 26: Audience of the morning show in a theatre panicked and ran out as they noticed fire on the ceiling of the hall.

Police said traffic on the Anna Salai and Kamaraj Salai were affected, as about 200 people ran out of the Raja theatre in panic.

Fire-tenderers doused the flames and prevented further damage.

The show was cancelled following fire. The theatre was screening Arjun's 'Durai'.
