Gujjar, BJP leaders join ANC in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 25 (UNI) A senior Gujjar leader and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader along with their supports today joined the Awami National Conference (ANC).

A spokesman for the ANC, headed by former Chief Minister Ghulam Mohammad Shah said a prominent Gujjar and Bakerwal leader from Shangus in south Kashmir Chowdhary Abdul Hameed joined ANC along with hundreds of his supporters.

He added Mr Shah had resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The speaker said another youth leader of BJP Shabir Ahmad from Pahalgam also joined ANC along with his supporters.
