Haryana to host National Tug Of War Championship

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) The 17th National Tug Of War Championship for men and women will be held in Haryana at Haripura village of Sirsa district from November 7 to 8.

According to All India Tug of War Federation president Sardar Umrao Singh, 43 teams of men and women consisting of 550 sports persons and officials from 24 States Associations of Tug of War would participate in the Championship.

Bhadu further informed that a team from Pakistan had been invited to participate in the Championship and to play exhibition matches in various states after the National Championship.
