Gopalratnam Kannan appointed Timex Group India President

New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) Timex Group, one of the world's leading watchmakers, today said it has appointed Mr Gopalratnam Kannan as President of its India operations.

Mr Kannan will be heading the sales and marketing operations and all support functions, including finance and human resource in the Timex Group India Ltd (TGIL), a company statement said.

He will report to TGIL MD Kapil Kapoor.

Prior to joining Timex, he was working for Swatch Group as Country Manager, with responsibility for all India operations for brands like Omega, Longines, Rado, Blancpain, Tissot and Swatch.

Mr Kannan has more than 18 years of experience in the watch industry wherein he has worked for Swatch Group India and Titan Industries Ltd.
