No slowdown in Campus recruitment: Wipro HR
Bangaloroe, Oct 22: IT major Wipro Technologies Director (Human Resources) Prathik Kumar on Wednesday, Oct 22 said that there is no stoppage of Campus recruitment by the company following global economic slowdown.
Talking to newsmen after announcement of Company's Q2 results here, he said that "there is no slowdown in recruitment and Campus selection is going as usual." Replying to a question, he said that there is no delay in appointment of those to whom call letters were given. "The appointment was done as and when requirement arises and the company has not withdrawn any call letters. This year 8000 Campus offer letter were made so far. Call leters have already been issued to 13,000. "The recruited were provided with tool kit so that they learn about their work before going in for training. The intake of freshers would continue till Q4." "There is no need for anxity among those selected. In lateral hiring net utilisation was 79.2 per cent as and when required it would be utilised," he added.
