3 buried alive, 4 hurt, 2 missing as earth caves in
Malappuram, Kerala, Oct 22 (UNI) Three workers were buried alive, two went missing and four wounded, two of them seriously, when earth caved-in in a stone quarry at Marakkara Maravattom here today.
Police said the deceased were identified as Balakrishnan, Kumar and Muthu.
Two seriously injured workers were admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital while two others were sent to a hospital in Kottakkal in the District.
Efforts were on to trace other two persons who went missing, police added.
